Introduction.
Statement of the project.
New Radio journalism is a new course introduced to promote journalism professionals engaged in radio broadcasting and production. As it has been said that “New Radio Journalism” is a new course it having a high demand from almost journalist who want and make their career in journalism especially on that new professional that uses digital and portable electronic devices and gargets. Due to modern invents in the industry, radio style and formats of program have changed to a very special study rather mixed as it was in the beginning. For that reasons we need to have also modern professional competences that would fit to the industry in order to deliver good products.
We have little competence in journalism in Tanzanian especially in radio industry in relation to East African countries likely Kenya, Uganda etc as result journalist from Kenya gains employment opportunities in Tanzania than the natives. Recently, Tanzanian journalist have demanded through MCT that there must be strong rules and regulations guided to journalist from foreign countries to be employed in our country.
According to demand we have to establish a especial advertising program about the project so as to make awareness for those who want to join for that profession early before we lose the opportunity for the marked and win because we are the first instate to establish that course as special course in the country.
Vision
Advertising is a key element to win the market; if you don’t advertise this new course to our institution we will lose the opportunity of people who shall increase the knowledge or skills about radio journalism. If we advertise this course in our institution will produce professional of radio journalism, to create different program and also to increase the quality of the programs.
Mission (Proposal)
The purpose of this project is to promote good education programs which will be attractive, to make quality assurance to the professionals, aims to influencing radio quality programs with professional radio journalist. Another reason for advertising the course is to attract and give attention to all people who target to be radio entrepreneur join the course, rather leave the opportunity for foreign professionals.
The topic of this project is “New radio journalism course” that contains different content that are targeted toward be informative as well as persuasive in attracting the journalist as well as those wish to specialize on Radio journalism.
The target groups is veterans, young people, journalist, DJ’s who interested with radio journalism and those who wish to be competent in new radio media industry focusing on income generating, extend employment opportunities, and improve quality radio programs that fulfills the gap between the audience and the industry.
Technical specifications.
The advert length is 30 second that will be produced using the HD video format that requires motion and still graphics with sound effects, voice over narration to be recorded in studio. The final advert will then be aired three times a day in prime time for two months.
Budget and cost sharing.
The estimate budget of the total cost of production is about 3,600,000 Tshs, this is due to the transportation cost, equipment hire, Food and Accommodations, Research and script writing, Labor charges, post production, transmission and other unseen cost.
We have no financial sources to share as long as we are students perusing diploma courses; we are producing the advertising as partial fulfillment for our course.
Technical supervision
Our technical supervisor will be the video and TV tutorial assistant Mr. Kimotta Meshack, who has made a number of production activities as well as experience about the field.
The final say and the approval of all production activities shall be, The Principal DSJ. All correspondence must be addressed to him through an address-P.O Box 25444, Dar es salaam.

11.09.12 Studio Preview room It will be a preview session of the final draft program before transmission Producer, Executive producer, Director, Editor and other two people to be invited by the Ex. Producer. Members will be allowed to give out their comments after see the program
